Sires

Reg: 20222994

Kevin (registered as MR WF 2033 "Mr Wonderful") is Lazy Dog's primary herd sire: a long, heavily muscled bull that weighs around 2,100 lb yet is as docile as they come. He is by CA/RDF Mateo 7238 and out of Hefte Ranch H33, who also produced his half sister that won her class at Houston in 2026. Kevin has proven heifer-safe, with calves averaging 70-72 lb at birth, and his offspring have gone on to the show ring, to work as herd sires and to perform on the rail. He was one of the high-selling bulls at the 2023 Strait-Hefte Tried & True Production Sale. A limited amount of conventional semen is available from the ranch. Performance data: weaning weight 615 lb; balanced EPD profile with top 10% REA and top 15% Marbling (as published by the ranch); progeny birth weights 70-72 lb.
