JR

Description

JR, the junior herd bull, joined the program in 2025. He is rugged, eye-catching on pasture and walks with confidence. His sire, Hefte Ranch F14 Tomcat, is making his mark on the breed with big, stout calves, and his dam, Hefte Ranch F47, traces to the highly fertile Harris Farms 37/8 cow, a foundation female in the Hefte program. JR's main job is covering the commercial Hereford cows and the Star 5 program, rounding out the bull battery alongside Kevin and adding longevity, fertility and a proven maternal line. Performance data: weaning weight 663 lb.
