Our Story

DL Texas Ranch is a family seed stock operation in Montgomery, Texas, founded by husband-and-wife Dan and Leticia Arnold, who live on the ranch with four generations of their family. Serial entrepreneurs in retail, electronics, beauty and entertainment, they brought the same drive for excellence to cattle. Today the ranch is run by their sons, Brandon and Joshua.

The program centres on registered Fullblood Japanese Black Wagyu, dual registered with the American and Australian Wagyu Associations, alongside registered Purebred Polled Wagyu and registered Beefmaster cattle with Beefmaster Breeders United. Through AI, embryo transfer and IVF with some of the world's most respected sires, the Arnolds breed for consistency, marbling and balanced traits, and offer seed stock, semen and embryos to other ranchers.

The cattle live on pasture, are handled quietly from day one, and are hand fed on the ranch until harvest on a custom ration with no corn or soy, designed with a nutritionist who spent years studying cattle raising in Japan. Customers can trace every animal from pedigree to management, and the family also sells its own Wagyu and Beefmaster beef direct from the ranch through Texas Wagyu.
