Located 30 miles east of Kansas City in Richmond, Missouri, Wright Charolais is home to over 600 purebred Charolais cattle. Owner Derry Wright's passion for Charolais began with his grandfather's herd many years ago.
With the help of his wife, Mary, and managing partners Chris and Kelsi Peuster, the herd has grown to be nationally recognized. Our cattle are genetically selected for calving ease, vigor at birth and docile dispositions.
They are moderate in frame size without sacrificing the performance needed for exceptional pay weight. Bulls sell every March in our Annual Bull Sale, and females and bulls every November in The Fall Event, both at our sale facility near Kearney.

WC WGB Landman 5137 and WC Encore 4523 each sold for $130,000 (one-half interest) on DVAuction.
Every Fall Event lot is videoed before the sale.

"The bulls are moderate, easy-calving and they still bring the pay weight at weaning. That combination keeps us coming back every March."
"We bought into a Brenda 4035 flush and the embryo calves have been the best females in our herd."
"Docile, sound heifers that calved on their own. The sale-day help and the breeding guarantee made it simple."
