Our Story
Southern Grant Ranch sits in the heart of South Texas, nine miles north of Alice. The family-owned operation covers just under 2,000 acres and specializes in premium Brahman cattle and irrigated Tifton 85 hay.
The Garrett family has deep roots in ranching with both cattle and horses. We have invested in quality Brahman genetics for the show ring and the pasture, and keep growing the herd by buying and breeding some of the best bloodlines available.
Steve and Denise Garrett are raising Stephen, Trenton, Dylan and Hudson in a way of life built on hard work, self-reliance and strong family values. Together we work to improve our cattle, travel to the shows and care for our livestock. It is more than a job.
