Dr. Alvaro Restrepo and his wife Ana had a vision of a solid red herd of high-quality, functional Beefmasters that would consistently deliver polled performance genetics. Over 20 years later, Santa Ana Ranch has the strongest and largest herd of polled Beefmasters in South Texas, with sleek red coats and ideal dispositions.
Our motto is to raise Beefmasters that are polled, red and good. Every year at the end of February we host the Beefmaster Border Classic on the ranch, so buyers can see how our cattle are cared for and the stock they come from.
