HOH Hikaru 18T "Huck"

Description

A 99.2% purebred Red Wagyu bull, nicknamed "Huck", whose Wagyu DNA traces to Hikari, Rueshaw, Judo, Shigemaru and Mazda. He has been widely used at the ranch for F1/50% Red Wagyu production since 2013 and has sired over 400 F1 calves out of non-Wagyu cows, which are docile, grow quickly and finish with good carcass quality. He is red-hided with homozygous red color genes, extremely gentle and easy keeping, and weighs roughly 1,650–1,800 lb depending on condition. SCD AA, Tenderness 3, and an F11 carrier; semen is stored at Elgin Breeding Service and priced from $20 down to $5 per straw depending on volume.
