Brandon and Rachel Cutrer met at the 2009 Brahman All American and married in 2010 with no land and just six cows. Rachel grew up on the Brahman show road under the mentorship of her grandparents, Sloan and Mollie Williams, and the couple spent their first decade of marriage working alongside her grandfather on his ranch.
In September 2019 they formed B.R. Cutrer, Inc. and launched the BRC brand. Their first BRC-branded cattle sold in May 2020, led by BRC Boombox 38 at $70,000, and within three years BRC Hey Dude 118 became the first BRC-branded National Champion. In 2022 BRC was named Beef Improvement Federation Seedstock Producer of the Year.
Today BRC runs more than 1,800 acres and over 500 registered Brahman, Angus and Hereford cattle from its headquarters in Boling, Texas, with daughters Mollie and Annie part of the operation. The family's guiding values are to glorify God, be best in class, deliver the most value to customers and set new standards for the Brahman breed.

Brandon and Rachel marry in Wharton County with no land and six cows, and Brandon begins leading the ABBA's Brahman carcass evaluation project.
+Miss V8 382/7, a wedding gift from mentor Jeff Smith, wins Houston and goes on to become the dam of Boom Shaka Laka.
21/8 becomes the breed's only two-time Houston Grand Champion grey female, and the family launches Brahman Country Beef.
The Cutrers start their own operation and the new BRC hip brand; their herd becomes the first Brahman cattle sold in the USA with genomic-enhanced EPDs.
BRC Hey Dude 118 becomes the first BRC-branded National Champion, and the ranch earns the purebred beef industry's highest honor.
BRC adds over 1,000 acres in Louisiana plus 100 registered Angus and 100 registered Hereford cattle for crossbreeding customers.
755 bids from four countries; 15 Brahman females average $14,250, topped by BRC Waves and Wind 871 at $33,750.
"Brandon and Rachel are great pioneers of the Brahman breed. I trust them and I'm so happy with using their program in my herd. Can't wait to see what these next units of BRC bulls will do for us!"
"Your bulls are the perfect size. They're not huge, yet not too moderate. You can turn these bulls out and forget about them. They don't look pushed on feed, they'll hold their own and they're ready to work!"
"Beautiful farm atmosphere, beautiful cattle in shape and bloodlines with many champion titles at national and international level. BRC is very interesting in pedigree, shape of cows, and management. It is really like the words "Modern Brahman.""
