Branson Wagyu Cattle in Weatherford, Texas, began modestly in 2014 with one cow named Princess. Tom Branch, an international commercial airline pilot, and Tina Edwardson, a business entrepreneur and Montana native, relocated from Idaho to Texas in 2011. Drawing on her knowledge from the horse industry, Tina studied the genetic side of the business, and her passion for the Wagyu breed was born.
Branson believes that along with high-EBV Black Fullblood genetics, Polled Wagyu are also the future. We push the genetic envelope through aggressive artificial insemination and embryo transfer programs, and we help new breeders develop custom programs to reach their highest goals.
Because international markets are integral to improving the breed, Branson represents many lines of top-EBV Australian semen, helps international breeders use US Wagyu genetics, and brings outside genetics into the US. Tina, Tom and the gang welcome everyone to the ranch for a tour.
